My question is regarding the solemn procession and blessing of palms. Isn’t it appropriate to do it at each liturgy even the vigil mass?

When the first two options are chosen the Penitential Rite is not done.Yes.
There are three options - any of which may legitimately be chosen at any mass time.
Um … OK? Yes, that’s true …When the first two options are chosen the Penitential Rite is not done.
NO. The solemn procession can only happen once, at the Mass with the most people, whether that is the anticipated Mass celebrated on Saturday evening or the 12 noon Sunday Mass. Thanks for your last answer and I should have been clearer. Can you repeat the solemn procession and blessing of the palms, whichever option you choose, multiple times at the vigil and then at 2 or 3 masses on the Sunday liturgies?
- The commemoration of the entrance of the Lord into Jerusalem has, according to ancient custom, been celebrated with a solemn procession, in which the faithful in song and gesture imitate the Hebrew children who went to meet the Lord, singing “Hosanna.” [33]
The procession may take place only once, before the Mass that has the largest attendance, even if this should be in the evening of either Saturday or Sunday. The congregation should assemble in a secondary church or chapel or in some other suitable place distinct from the church to which the procession will move.

Good dig up. This issue never came up in a parish for me and I don’t believe the Ordo addresses it.No, the solemn procession can only be done once, at the Mass with the greatest attendance.
Paschale Solemnitatis:
I found it when someone was complaining last year in my parish that the Saturday evening crowd (approx. 25) never get the good stuff and that it should be the same way at both Masses. I thought I’d see if anything had been written about it.Good dig up. This issue never came up in a parish for me and I don’t believe the Ordo addresses it.
Good find.
I don’t know if this has ever happened to any of y’all. A former colleague of mine got married on the Saturday before Palm Sunday. The Mass was scheduled after the anticipated Sunday Vigil Mass.If it is in the evening on Saturday and uses the Palm Sunday orations and readings it fulfills the obligation. Most diocese have some kind of regulation about how early an anticipated Sunday Mass can be, it is common to be 4 PM.
Attending a wedding on Saturday afternoon does not fulfill the obligation.
Yes, but someone will probably post on Monday morning that the priest forgot the Penitential Rite at the mass they attended.Um … OK? Yes, that’s true …
No one was talking about that.
No doubt.Yes, but someone will probably post on Monday morning that the priest forgot the Penitential Rite at the mass they attended.
