Pam Kelley was 18 years old in the summer of 1973 when she accepted a fateful ride in a Jeep from a male member of the Kennedy family on Nantucket.

Joseph P. Kennedy II flipped the Jeep on a sandy cutoff and Pam Kelley was thrown out and paralyzed from the waist down.

She would never walk again. She spent the rest of her life in a wheelchair.

WOW… a Kennedy got into a car accident, someone was injured, and he was charged and convicted of misdemeanor! You’re really reaching!
 
Sure … I do suppose this victim should be glad that she was only hurt and not killed … and that this Kennedy was convicted of a misdemeanor - I am sure that $100 fine was what an average person would have paid too [not] - and did not totally escape accountability …
