Thank you so much Galilea, your words are consoling. I’m sorry you lost your dad. But it sounds like you have surrendered to Gods Divine Will…may God Bless you!“Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Wounds of our Lord Jesus Christ to heal those of our souls”
“My Jesus, pardon and mercy, by the merits of Thy Holy Wounds”
I lost my dad some years ago, he battled for two years. I can only tell you what I learned. It is best not to worry if it is their time to go or not, but best to pray telling the Lord…“Father I trust in your Holy Will”…“May your Holy Will be done, for the outcome of your Will is always perfect”. Enjoy every moment that you all have together as a family. Have open loving conversations. I asked my dad about how he felt about the whole situation, if there were any fears in him, etc. It helped us and him. But during those two years, people passed before my dad did, family members, friends, even people that had not been sick. Soo no one knows when ones number comes up in heaven, so it is best “to live in the moment and be in love and joy”. My dad was a recovering alcoholic, so continue to gift yourself, your mom, your family, and your God with one more day![]()
My heart goes out to you and my prayers are with your mom and the whole family.Hello everyone,
Please pray for my mother who was just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. My mind is in a fog so I don’t know what else to say right now. But my family and my mom would greatly appreciate all the prayers she can get. …Thank you in advance.
My mom has lived her whole life for her family…has stayed true to the teachings of the Church and done her best to pass the loving teachings of Christ’s bride (the Catholic Church) on to her family. …She has managed to live off of practically nothing. She gave birth to 8 children, 4 girls and 4 boys. One boy went “home” early as a baby. I am the youngest of the bunch (32).
All of her children are out of the house and she still lives off of practically nothing. And is happy with that kind of life. Simple, not seeking pleasures of this life but of the next.
She has been my rock. She (and my father) have given me my faith. She led me to Alcoholics Anonymous where I became sober. She spends her days beginning with Mass and praying the rosary and the chaplet of Divine Mercy.
I don’t know what I’ll do without her. But I know God will be with us all.
Thank you… Peace to everyone!!!
(With Christ ANYTHING is possible)
