How many papal documents have you read? Which documents, subjects or popes?

I don’t remember all the names (some are pretty long) but the few I have read have all been from JPII except for Humanae Vitae which is probably my favorite ever.

I now realize that I messed up and forgot to lead off with “None” as the first option on both polls! Oh well.

I couldn’t even begin to list what I have read, mostly because I couldn’t remember it all, but some of the Pope have included John Paul II, Paul VI, Pius XII, Pius XI, Pius X, Pius IX, Leo XIII, Gregory XVI, Pius V, Gregory I “The Great”, and Damasus.

Pope Gregory XVI in my opinion is the best at writting encyclicals because they are short and to the point. He finds a way to cover a volume of material in only a paragraph. *Mirari Vos * is my favorite of his.

Aeterni Patris-Leo XIII
Rerum Novarum- Leo XIII
Pascendi-Pius X
Quadragesimo Anno- Pius IX
Humani Generis- Pius XII
Mater et Magistra- John XXIII
Pacem in Terris- John XXIII
Humani Vitae- Paul VI
Fides et Ratio- John Paul II
