It has been said that throughout 2000 years the Pope has never taught error. I vaguely recall Patrick Madrid, and others, I’m sure, give some examples of when a Pope was about to proclaim something that was definitely contrary to Faith and Morals of the Church, that Pope, in fact, died before he was able to do so.
Does someone know Church History well enough to point out some specific examples of this?
