If I counted right, and if my “Pope Chart” is accurate, 75 are called “Saint”, and another 8 are called “blessed”. That is out of 264 popes.
Almost all of the early popes are called “saint”, but that starts to thin out in the 600’s and beyond.
I have large poster of all the popes and it is reallly pretty interesting. I happened to have it right next to me. Of course, I’ll need to get a new one soon because it is outdated as of this past Saturday.:crying:
