Was Jesus making reference to Himself in the following passage? Is it a foreshadowing of Christ’s own resurrection?
Also, I tend to think that the absence of a name for the rich man versus the riteous man being named Lazarus illustrates the relative unimportance of those who are damned and that they are thus forgotten (of their own choosing). Thoughts?“But he said: No, father Abraham: but if one went to them from the dead, they will do penance. And he said to him: If they hear not Moses and prophets, neither will they believe, if one rise again from the dead.”
