Well… If I see or contact my Godparent and I am a minor, is this considered a violation of the Fourth Commandment?

You need to obey your parents.
You also need to figure out just WHY they believe this person is wrong for you.

This is the third thread you have started on this subject. You will get the same answers. Speak to a priest when possible, and until then, you must obey your parents if you are a minor.

You’ve already spoken to him, according to another thread, and he’s told you to obey your parents. So if you were to contact him, you’re going against what he’s told you as well as your parents.

Wait, I thought you were an adult with disabilities not a minor.

Which is it?

Ditto. Before you stated you were an attending Uni IIRC.

I’m thinking maybe the OP left out a “not” in their sentence, as in “not a minor” but I want to wait for clarification.

I thought the OP was an adult, but dependent on her parents.

Ok, just looked at the OPs history and they said they were 20 on another thread.

She said she is in Southeast Asia. Is the age of majority different there from most other areas?

Not really, but culturally YES.
I recall a frequent and long time poster who was a young Asian woman in college and her parents rule every single thing in her life, down to whether or not she could accept a ride home from school or church.
It’s not uncommon, but we in the U.S. can’t really wrap our heads around it.
