I’m not sure this is the right place for this question, but I’ve got another I need some help with.

I used to live in Chicago and regularly attended St. John Cantius Church. They are a wonderful and traditional parish and offer the TLM every Sunday, as well as classes in Latin, Hebrew, and Greek for anyone interested in learning at a very reasonable price for materials, etc. I have recently moved to Southern California (Whittier is the city for those of you who may have information), and was wondering if there are any parishes in the LA or Orange County areas that offer classes in Latin. I would very much like to learn and have been unable to find anything on my own. Any information would be much appreciated!

There used to be the International Institute of Theological and Tribunal Studies (IITTS) in LA that offered classes every summer for a very reasonable price, but since last year it’s been relocated to San Antonio, TX.

Unfortunately, I don’t know of any parish that offers classes like those unless you go through a college or university.

You might want to check
calatinmass.blogspot.com/
and see if they have anything.

Also Charles Coulombe shares a lot of info on So.Cal EF events there, maybe he’s heard something on the grapevine? (I think I’ve seen him post here something too).

Thanks:thumbsup:

Also, call the FSSP parish in San Diego, Saint Anne’s. They might be able to help you.
They have a daily TLM.

Whittier, CA is in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Unfortunately, San Diego is most likely too far for the OP.
