Our elderly parish priest here has been admitted into hospital today:(.He has tirelessly given
so much on his own here,taking care of his flock and the wider community.
Could good people please pray for his recovery?God bless and thank you.

Elderly parish priest, I bless you with the special blessing of our Blessed Mother. May the power of the Holy Spirit come upon you and give you peace and healing. Amen.

Despise not our petitions in our necessities, but deliver us always from all dangers,
O Glorious and Blessed Virgin.

May Our Lady’s shawl be around his shoulders during this time of illness, and May Her Son give him a speedy recovery.

We should always value our Priests, they have given up a lot, and deserve respect, and not to be bad mouthed about, which in itself one is talking about the Lord’s anointed and we know how well that goes down well with the Lord from the O/T.

In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit:

Kind and compassionate Jesus, we ask Your tender mercy and grace for Your faithful servant, who now lies sick in the hospital. Throughout his life he has dutifully answered Your call. He committed his life to You and, with dedication and perseverance, performed every task on behalf of his flock, whom You charged to his clerical care. Today it is he in great need of you, the great Healer and Shepherd. Watch over him, Lord. Grant him comfort and peace. Remind him of Your promise to be with those who serve You, even to the end of the world. Assure him of Your presence and swaddle him in the folds of Your depthless, divine love.

Grant these our prayers, O Father, for Jesus Christ’s sake, our only Mediator and Advocate, to whom, with Thee and the Holy Ghost, be all honour and glory…
