Guest
Our Parish Secretary, and dear friend Rennie Todd,
passed into eternal life this morning in hospice.

Thank you to everyone who prayed
for her healing and a happy death.

We loved her so much. It’s like a dream,
but we know she is no longer suffering.

Thank you all so much,
Love,
Clare

God our Father,
Your power brings us to birth,
Your providence guides our lives,
and by Your command we return to dust.

Lord, those who die still live in Your presence,
their lives change but do not end.
I pray in hope for our families,
relatives, and friends,
and for all the dead known to You alone.

In company with Christ,
Who died and now lives,
may they rejoice in Your kingdom,
where all our tears are wiped away.
Unite us together again in one family,
to sing Your praise forever and ever.

Amen.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon her.

St. Joseph, intercede for this soul entering your Son’s kingdom. Amen.

Very saddened to hear of your loss. I’m sorry I missed your prayer thread. Praying now for her repose.

Praying for Rennie :gopray:

Hail Mary,
Full of grace,
The Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb,
Jesus
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of death,
Amen

Thanks everyone. She was the kindest person ever. The best person to have at the office. When she took ill and had to go on leave, the whole atmosphere changed. No more laughter, no kind words, no compassion. Just all business. Was really sad.
She never met a stranger, she would stop and listen to everyone with a problem. She made sure every kid in the parish got Christmas gifts, she was always looking out for people.
She and I would laugh and laugh.
We used to tease the custodian that he bought toilet tissue that was way too cheap and rough. We used to say it gave us “monkey butt”. That’s how we got better t-paper.
You’re welcome parishioners.

I miss her so much, it’s so hard. But she loved her dad so much, and she’s likely going to be with him I hope.
I could tell you some very funny stories.
Sigh.

I love you Rennie.

My Lord Jesus, lead all souls to heaven, especially those most in need of thy mercy.

Our Father…Hail Mary x10
Glory Be…Fatima Prayer
Amen!

She sounds like she was a very special person.

Eternal rest grant unto Rennie, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon her.
May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God,
rest in peace.
Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Praying for the repose of your dear friend and for all her friends and family who mourn her passing.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.

Prayer to St. Alexius

Dear St. Alexius, you were born nobly to a Roman Senator and felt the call to belong all to Christ. With the help of your betrothed, you escaped the city and the future planned out for you and became a beggar on the city streets. After many years, you were so well known for your sanctity that you had to flee back to Rome, but you were never recognized by your family until your death. You gave up everything for God and lived so my and humbly, teaching the catechism to those you came in contact with. Help all of us today who live in materialistic society to live more simply and submit humbly to God. Pray that we find find our vocation as God wills it, that the call will not be deafened by our busy lives, our noisiness, and our weaknesses. I especially ask you to pray for all the intentions posted here this day, for those for whom I am obligated to pray, and for my family. Amen.

St. Alexius, pray for us!

What a lovely prayer. Thank you

**Most Holy Virgin Mary, Help of Christian,
how sweet it is to come to your feet
imploring your perpetual help.
If earthly mothers cease not to remember their children,
how can you, the most loving of all mothers forget me?
Grant then to me, I implore you,
your perpetual help in all my necessities,
in every sorrow, and especially in all my temptations.
I ask for your unceasing help for all who are now suffering.
Help the weak, cure the sick, convert sinners.
Grant through your intercessions many vocations to the religious life.
Obtain for us, O Mary, Help of Christians,
that having invoked you on earth we may love and eternally thank you in heaven.
Amen.
