is it right to go to a number ofdifferent parishes for various sacraments say for reconciliation ? i have about 4-5 parishes, the closest one within walking distance but they dont do the sacrament of reconciliation on sundays therefor i wouldnt be able to receive the eucharist and i have a tough time sitting through mass knowing i cant receive the sacrament buti would feel terrible to not go for it, and the other parish is a different language which is odd to me to

Do they offer it on Saturdays? Could you make an appointment?

I don’t think I could ever make an appointment, but I go to different parishes all the time, mostly for reasons of time. Good, solid priests I know have recommended “just going to confession”, and I have heard Mother Angelica say the same thing.

You may attend Mass, go to Confession, at any Catholic parish.

Yes. I would hardly call going to confession when convenient and available
parish “shopping” or “hopping”, which in the real sense is frowned on by pastors. That’s not what you’re talking about here. you’re fine.
