April is national Parkinsons month. I am asking for prayers for those who suffer from Parkinsons like I am. For a cure because there is no cure. For the families who are seeing their family member get worse as it progresses. For the care takers who are doing a wonderful job in taking care of these people. Parkinsons is a disorder that affects the nerves system and other parts of the body like sight, movement, eating, breathing, causes depression, dimensha, and other problems. So please keep them in your prayers.
 
rev kevin, thank you for alerting us to the significance of this month. I will keep you and your fellow sufferers in my prayers, and especially this month. However I do very much feel for those who have degenerative illness. I do but I’d pick mine over yours.

Loving God please have compassion on my brothers and sisters who are afflicted with Parkinsons. Trapped in their growing disability, they are as Jesus was, when nailed to the cross. Please mitigate their sufferings. Help them to find inner peace in trust in You, and in enjoying any little positives in their lives. Please comfort and give courage to them and to their loved ones.

Loving God, in many areas our scientists have made progress in isolating moral treatments for our sick. I implore You to give right inspiration and success to our researchers in finding ways to mitigate and cure this debilitating illness.

Thank You, loving God

My former brother in law has Parkinsons and I know how much you suffer. Peace be with you.
 
“We carry with us in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus, too, may be seen in our body. Indeed, while we are still alive, we are consigned to our death every day for the sake of Jesus, so that in our mortal flesh the life of Jesus may be openly shown.” [Corinthians 6:10-11]

Loving God please infuse those who suffer with Parkinsons with Your Holy Spirit, so that the face of Your beloved Son shines out from them in witness to others and glorifying You.
Allow them to join with Jesus in His intercession for the healing and conversion of souls. (Isaiah 53 verses 1-12)
 
Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the Sick, we turn to You in this time of illness. O dearest comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with Your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden.

Dear God, we place our worries in Your hands. We place our sick under Your care and humbly ask that You restore Your servant to health again.

Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge Your holy will and know that whatsoever You do, You do for the love of us. Amen.

O Lord, Holy Father, omnipotent and eternal God, I give You thanks and I bless Your holy name. I know I’m a poor miserable sinner but hear a cause that is just, turn your ear to my prayer. Amen

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come; Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee. Blessed art Thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of Hell; lead all souls into Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy. Amen.

Praying my heart out for them. My best friend and BIL, Danny, suffers from this horrible disease. It’s so disheartening to see him deteriorate. A cure would be wonderful.

The same Lord that rose from the dead on the third day,
and Ascended into Heaven.
The same Lord that spoke the word
and the Centurion’s Servant was immediately healed.
The same Lord that restored sight to the blind;
cleansed lepers, cured the halt and lame.
The same Lord that with a word
rebuked the seas and they were calm.
The same Lord that raised Lazarus from the dead.
The same Lord that has been given all power
both in Heaven and on earth, Do Thou,
the same Lord visit and comfort those with Parkinsons,
from the afflictions that they are now suffering.
Strengthen our faith like that of the Roman Centurion,
so that we may ask for this healing with the same faith,
trust, and hope that they will be healed in the same manner
that the Centurion’s servant was restored to health.

hear this fervent prayer for those suffering
and grant this request as we hold this,
