N/A flutes - There’s a difference between “native-style” and “Native-made
I am aware of this. I fully understand that I can not label my flutes as native made.
In the Iroquois culture (particularly Mohawk), as a non-Native, you would probably not even be allowed to enter the longhouse where dancing would take place, let alone being taught a social dance.
Yeah they are very closed about that stuff. But I fully respect that.
 
As an aside, when I first read the title of this post, the first question that came to mind was; “do you mean, like the United States?” Glad to see the discussion followed another track.
 
No I have not. I have considered it though. I just don’t have the money for the tests.
 
Ahhhg. My results were rather surprising. I did not have much in common with my Biological Father.

Fyi: It did say that he was my Biological Father. 😊
I just did not inherit some of his specific ethnic(?) genes.
