The acclamation “Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again” is being removed from the Mass entirely because it was never in the original Latin version.
A. Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again.
B. Dying you destroyed our death, rising you restored our life. Lord Jesus, come in glory.
C. When we eat this bread and drink this cup, we proclaim your death, Lord Jesus, until you come in glory.
D. Lord, by your cross and resurrection, you have set us free. You are the Savior of the World.
*In the new translation, there will be only three options, as there are in the Latin. Two of them line up nicely with options C and D. Because it is so far off of the Latin, I can only guess that the third one comes from option B. Option A, which has no parallel in the Latin text, will be eliminated altogether. *
