When will the paschal candle be removed from the sanctuary? I know its during Pentecost but what time of the day? Is it morning or evening?

I remember last year father was the on to say vespers before 6 pm mass before the vespers ended while the people were praying something (I forgot what it was) father took the paschal candle down then finished vespers then started 6 pm mass.

The Paschal candle is not removed from the sanctuary in our church . It remains next to the baptismal font to be used at baptisms . It is also used during Funeral Masses .

After Pentecost it’s placed near the baptismal font wherever that happens to be located in the church.

Ours also remains in the sanctuary but it’s moved from its prominent position next to the ambo to the other side and toward the back where the font is located. It remains unlit unless we have a baptism, and it’s placed next to the casket and lit during a funeral Mass.
