I would like too know if you seen this film, what your feelings were, when you saw it ,for when i seen it, it brought tears too my eyes. :harp:
Yes this is a very good film to come to know what Jesus had to go through for us. It also brought me to this understanding that it was His love for us that was stronger than anything else. It brought me to tears. This movie is a mystical movie and it needs to be seen in this mystical way which the director Mel Gibson had given it. A magnificent film!I would like too know if you seen this film, what your feelings were, when you saw it ,for when i seen it, it brought tears too my eyes. :harp:

Yes that is very true. The secular society does not want to promote anything that is Christian especially on the media. Perhaps it is time for Christian groups to get together and promote excellent Christian films. The Protestant groups do an excellent job in promoting Christian films from a lay person’s perspective. The Catholic Church has promoted excellent films based in their saints and you can find these films on Ignatius Press. These films are largely done in Europe so they are getting ahead of us. My favorite films are those done on St. John Bosco, St. Padre Pio and Sts. Francis and Clare of Assisi. There was an American film on St. Joseph Cupertino the flying saint and on the Mother of God of Lourdes that are still standouts. The promotion of Catholic and Orthodox saints on films will be a great ministry for any of us to see and I am hopeful that soon Catholics and Orthodox will be promoting their films to inspire us in the faith. If only more people would feel like me and you do about this film people are more worry about themselves than what Jesus went threw too save us. Easter. It shows us how the world is changing, only us Faithful people will remain true too the end.
I too brought the DVD of the film Passion of Christ, because it touch me some much, that even now when I watch it,Tears run down my eyes, for in my heart , Jesus truly suffered , at times when I mediated and picture Jesus being nailed too the cross,I get a chill running down my back, that,s how close I,am too my Lord. This film is hard to watch, but I imagine that it more closely depicts the suffering and death of our Lord than any of the other films about Jesus that have been on the big screen. Even though I know that Jesus ransomed himself for us, the film helps me more clearly understand how horrific his suffering was, how hard the evil once tried to tempt Jesus and stop what was to be so we couldn’t enter Gods Kingdom, and how much God loves us. I have the CD and cry every time I watch it. I think this is a film all people should watch. More than once.
