Passionist Supplement to the LotH?

Was crusing around the net and came across this:

We use the Church’s 4-volume breviary, together with a “Passionist breviary” - entitled “Passionist Proper Offices.” This Church approved Passionist breviary contains the Liturgy of the Hours for our various Passionist saints and blesseds, as well as other feasts such as Our Mother of Holy Hope (July 9) and the feast of the Precious Blood (July 1) which the Church has approved to be celebrated by Passionists. This special breviary also has a series of Passion Votive Offices which we often pray on Fridays of Ordinary Time, when not impeded by an obligatory memorial, a feast or a solemnity. Some of these special Offices are: “Jesus Prayer in the Garden”, “The Face of the Suffering Christ”, “Jesus is Scourged,” etc. Praying these with the Sisters of our own community as well as with guests, is a beautiful way to honor Jesus in the great mystery of His love.

Emphasis mine. I pray Lauds and Vespers daily, and would like to get this. Any idea where to get it/what it consists of?

It’s just a Proper similar to what most other orders of Congregations have. That is, it is a Supplement that contains texts for the Passionist saints and feasts.

It’s apparently out of print and un-gettable. I have tried to get it for ages and contacted several monasteries and priests but nothing has worked out. Recently I saw something that said Passionist Offices and quickly bought it - but it turned out to be all the saints who had been canonized/beatified after the first Proper was printed. Disappointing…

I have found the same thing with Dominican and Fransican supplements. Even though they do not say it I got the feeling that these were available in house only. That is only for members of the order. You may try Ebay or if you can find an ISBN number look on Amazon for used ones. That is what I did when I was looking for the Latin Liturgy of Hours. Good luck in your search.

Not to hijack the thread, but if you’d like a supplement, pm me. I collect ones from different orders/congregations and some of them I have converted to .doc files. Well, not the Franciscan (yet) - I only have that in hard copy still – but I do have, in digital format, the 1991 EP Dominican version, which IMHO is a cut over the provisional thick red book used in some of the other provinces as far as translation goes…
