I really like Tim Gray’s work. This article explains how the Passover itself was a “thank” offering; said by Torah scholars to be the only surviving sacrifice–fulfilled in the Mass.

Just so you know, this article has been debated several times here in other threads. The problems with it, at least the ones that I recall, are that:
  1. Gray’s statement “The Passover has all the same elements found in the todah: bread, wine, and sacrifice of a lamb, along with hymns and prayers” doesn’t mesh with the Bible. (The Bible only mentions a todah meal as consisting of unleavened bread and animal offering–see, e.g., Leviticus 7–no mention of wine).
  2. The quote from the Peskita that Gray cites as an “old rabbinic teaching” comes along at least 400 years after the Gospels were written.
  3. Some of the biblical quotes are a stretch. For example, in the Jonah text, Jonah promises to offer sacrifice “with a voice of thanksgiving” or “with a thankful voice” but doesn’t explicitly talk about making a todah offering.
  4. As I recall, the statement “A todah sacrifice would be offered by someone whose life had been delivered from great peril, such as disease or the sword. The redeemed person would show his gratitude to God by gathering his closest friends and family for a todah sacrificial meal” is conjecture on the part of Gray since we don’t really know about the circumstances that would prompt people to make such a sacrifice–though it could be anything for which someone is thankful.
There may have been other objections, I can’t remember them all.

You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek–NT and Psalms referring back to Abraham and Genesis–thank offering of bread and wine. 👍
