Hello everyone, I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
I just have a question about rosaries that Iāve prayed previously.
About 2 years ago I decided to pray the rosary and began to say it everyday. I would offer up intentions for myself and others as I prayed. I thought I was doing well by having a close prayer life with the Lord while asking Mary to intercede for me. However, (although I feel bad not knowing this before) I found out a few months ago that the main reason to pray the rosary was to meditate on the mysteries while praying. Well, all those times that I prayed the rosary, I never meditated or thought about the mysteries. Because of this, I am wondering, were my prayers worth anything to God? Did he accept them? Or were they just meaningless repititions that I recited over and over again? I am confused.
Also, are there any ways that you can reccommend so that I can begin praying the rosary (or some other prayer(s))again? I am afraid that Iāve had quite a lax prayer life lately and I really want to get back to it as I think it is a wonderful devotion.
Thank you all and God Bless.
