This thread is descending into madness. Much like the “Can Catholics eat Toast?” thread on Facebook.
And dont forget the Cheder meal at Pastaover.Al Fredo, who art in heaven…
The use of an inflammatory term like ‘madness’ is rude and could get you put on the Sicilian hit list. No, no, forget I said that. There is no such hit list. It doesn’t exist. I didn’t mean to say that. You provoked me and now I’m going to get into a lot of trouble. No…This thread is descending into madness. Much like the “Can Catholics eat Toast?” thread on Facebook.
Yes, a well-aged ordinance of great antiquity! You are obviously someone who has accepted the whole plateful and doesn’t pick out only the strands with the best sauce. No one could call you a cafeteria Pastafarian. And dont forget the Cheder meal at Pastaover.

Doesn’t Pastaover come early this year or, as some refer to it, al dente??And dont forget the Cheder meal at Pastaover.

True. But evolution/natural selection should be taught in science classes because it explains diversity within species although I think it cannot explain how species originate except perhaps through mutation. Mutation exists and whether it is random or by a higher design cannot be determined scientifically. Creationism should be taught in religion classes. Intelligent design could be mentioned in science class but the implications of it are philosophical, not scientific.Parody religions such as FSM and IPU entirely miss the point. They show the accident theorists up as not wanting to be logical in the first place. Intelligent Design just means everything that was here before and including the first human beings came into existence because some intelligent entity or entities decided it should. The number, appearance, mechanism of creation, timing of creation, and other factors are separate isssues.
some people believe it came from the Chinese, others from the Italians, there is historical evidence on both sides. Personally I believe Marco Polo picked it up (along with some unhealthy little bugs) in China and brought it back to Italy where it has developed locally side by side with the Mafia, but I am not Italian so I could be wrong. Sicilians disown Pastafarianism totally, so I am told. and actually there is a new documentary recently released about the pirates, who really don’t do anything.
No, but you must not indulge on it. For pasta was created for us as a sacrifice…
I have eaten a lot of pasta in my life, but not on golden plates I’m afraid. I have even had pasta in salads. Now I’m afraid I will face the constricting wrath of His noodly appendagesThe friend with whom I shared this thread said the angel Macaroni revealed to her it was ok when eaten on gold plates. But the question arises is it sacriligious to cut it or must it be twirled?
Wish I could offer some reassurances. I myself need further reflection on the question of the plates. But with the salads, I just don’t know. Is mixing pasta and salad kosher? It could be inferred that if sauce, which is made from vegetables, is licit, then perhaps salad is also licit. I hope you will consult your local chef on this, since it is no small matter. Also, did you mix the salad with pasta yourself or was it served to you that way? This might diminish your culpability. To be safe, from now on until you have a clear answer on this, IMO you should eat your spaghetti plain. And refrain from vegetables for three hours prior to pasta. Try not to fall into scrupulosity.I have eaten a lot of pasta in my life, but not on golden plates I’m afraid. I have even had pasta in salads. I have mixed my pasta with both vegetables and meat. When it comes to the salads I have bough some of them in my school cafeteria and others I have made myself. But isn’t it good to take leftover pasta to good use instead of throwing it away? Or is that just shameless self-justification from my side? I have also boiled and refrigerated pasta for the sole purpose of putting it in a salad.Wish I could offer some reassurances. I myself need further reflection on the question of the plates. we will have to ask Valke for info on the kosher aspect.Wish I could offer some reassurances. I myself need further reflection on the question of the plates. But with the salads, I just don’t know.
