Pastor Anderson mocking the Catholic Church (again)

They would probably quote Paul by saying that love is patient, love is kind.

This man does not exhibit the fruit of the Spirit, imo.

And what’s disturbing is that he gets thousands upon thousands of people watching his channel and raving about him and how they wish they lived in AZ so they could attend his church.
 
Me too. Commenting on their videos (if they aren’t disabled, a lot of them are, well, Anti Catholic videos in general, not sure about his.), at least gives the people watching a different perspective.

True, but if they watched, for example, the passion of the Christ, they would notice the Jews wearing similar garb and do the math. Suit and tie is a rather late concept for any type of pastoral gear.
 
I had a teacher’s assistant (she was very old at the time), in the fifth grade that lived THROUGH the Holocaust. If the Holocaust never happened, why have I met Holocaust survivors?

Do they also mock the “silly dress up” of Buddhist monks? Maybe they do. But special religious dress is pretty universal across religions / cultures.
 
The only emotion we should feel for him is concern for his soul. Nothing good can come from anything other than that.

So many of them have never had another perspective presented to them, for one reason or another.
 
I watched some of his other stuff- and yeah, it’s interesting to say the least. Absolutely not worth the time.

But on top of being… zealous …Anderson is a Pelagian. And not only is Anderson a Pelagian, he’s also a really, really bad preacher. What I mean by that is that he doesn’t so much exposit Scripture as he just screams a lot. And frankly, a lot of what he’s screaming is nonsense.

Imagine if Jack Hyles and Jack Chick somehow singularly merged their eccentricities and had a three-way love child with the physical female embodiment of sheer ignorance, and this would essentially be Steven Anderson.

Thankfully it doesn’t look like he has a big following. It looked like there are maybe 30 or so people there. I’ve been to larger family Thanksgiving gatherings.

However, that doesn’t minimize or excuse his ignorance and bigotry of the Catholic faith. I suspect he is mainly doing it for the “shock value” and notoriety it gives him. The Internet provides him a lot more attention than he would otherwise receive.

He is hilariously ignorant watching some clips show that he has obviously never read a bible he prayed for Barack Obama to go to Hell he is like a pharisee you don’t pray for someone to go to Hell. This Lutheran guy is hilarious though he totally destroys this guy. I wish he would debate a catholic or really any christian he would completely fail. He has no mercy and no compassion and also seems to be full of pride and hate.
 
how does he have 100K subscribers this is actually scary you compare his speeches and body movements to Hitlers its scary it really is and he is filled with hate

In the end his own words might damn him since we will have to give an accounting for our words and actions on Judgement Day.

We have to pray for him since he will be in an unenviable position in the end if he doesn’t repent.

Exactly. He has like 40 people in his storefront church, a third of which are his own family. If it weren’t for youtube, no one would know who he is. He likes attention.

I don’t know who this “Pastor Anderson” is and don’t care. Anyone who calls himself or herself a pastor and mocks another’s church (whether it is a Catholic Church or a Protestant church) is not to be viewed or listened to, imho.
 
If I wanted to be mean-spirited, I would call Anderson an idiot.
But I do not want to be mean-spirited. 😀
