Bishop Robert W. Finn Issues Pastoral Letter
Message promotes human dignity and protecting our families from a new danger
More than 136,000 Catholics in the Diocese of Kansas City ~ St. Joseph began Lent with a pastoral letter from Bishop Robert W. Finn. Written in response to the work of the Diocesan Anti-Pornography Task Force, Bishop Finn’s message, “Blessed Are the Pure in Heart: A Pastoral Letter on the Dignity of the Human Person and the Dangers of Pornography,” emphasizes each person’s responsibility to uphold human dignity. Released on Ash Wednesday, the pastoral is the first written by a local bishop in over two decades. rest of story
Bishop Robert Finn just released the first pastoral letter to our diocese in over 20 years. Its about pornography. I urge you folks to take a look (there is a link at the bottom of the story). It is a bit long, 30some pages, but it well worth the time and effort to read. God blessed us with Bishop Finn.
