In response to a very enjoyable PM from Vouthon, which I feel should just be posted here as well in light of the confusion which might result on my position:
I’ll answer here as well as the thread, for I fear that people who don’t understand the SV position ( of which I disagree), and how the creation of a global government (if it is such) has spawned what it has (and it hasn’t really, the Marxists have usurped the idea). The SV position is typically related to the NO Mass, VII, and the interplay of the mythos regarding the origin and purpose of the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel, and the possibility of the chair of Peter being occupied by false popes from random times (per the view of each little SV cult).
This is usually focused on the supposed Jewish ancestry of Pope Paul the VI as a means to engage in subterfuge against an otherwise great possibility and the divine purpose of the Church in all regards.
This can extend back to other popes anytime after Pope Leo XIII and the perceived move to a visibly Catholic, but, totally non-Catholic Catholic Church. The SV’s will stop at nothing, nor will the Marxists, in undermining the legitimate and current Pope, as well as any actions he may take which are historically and traditionally Catholic, though misunderstood by the world in their intent and application.
Like we see in all things regarding Christian charity, those who have evil designs will usurp them and run with them utilizing vague and flowery language, semantics, and theology so seemingly sound, only the reality of its intended fruit and means to get there is what exposes it as satanic.
While I love the idea of people getting along, the reality of that is not historical in the least, and with morality all but blatantly murdered and dead in this world, it is impossible for such fruition to be anything as what was or is intended by the Church in the mystical or “hey wouldn’t this be great?” sense- and how it relates to actual things said by Catholic leaders.
The other failing of this idea is that the language, while perfectly fine in its context of Catholicity, is woefully misunderstood by our Protestant brothers and the idea only further cements the idea of the Church being the Beast, Whore, False Prophet, or other negative eschatological entities in the hermeneutics of modern Protestant theology.
The focus, then, needs to be on the reality of the current fight against all things anti-Christian, of which, global government is decidedly so given the reality of the situation.
This same nuance is what also leads to the rise of overt Catholic charity/social justice proponents who are employing covert Marxist ideologies and tenets while thinking it’s a good thing. It’s not. Nor is global government given the present reality.
These are great ideas from those learned men, but not applicable in reality given the situation we face. The only hope is for individual Catholics to stave off the attack until the Protestant brethren which are separated by the history of their ancestors’ heresy are returned to the fold, the Jewish people are protected from genocide for the same, and as a united Church, global in her true power, we rise up to challenge the satanic global reality which shall almost assuredly result.
It is a topic which has merits and should be discussed, but has no real place of discussion in public where the scandal it could create is injurious to the overall mission of the Church, and further strengthens the bulwarks of Protestant rebellion against the Church which Christ founded.
It’s tactically unsound at this stage of the fight, for the conditions which could engender such a beautiful Catholic reality are indeed gone. In their stead, a system which twists the words of the Church to a degree which is going to test the very words of Christ in the realm of the gates of Hell not prevailing. I can give no current credence to the idea in light of this.
That’s all I meant.
Regards,
Jon
