Dear brothers and sisters,

I was saved by God (forums.catholic-questions.org/showthread.php?t=630690) a few months ago, because of sins I have done that were severing my relationship with Him plus my desire to live a life based on self satisfaction. God guided me back to the bible, fellow christian friends, Church, my family, and lastly to this forum. In this forum, I have grown immensely in my catholic faith, and I also met by His Grace a beautiful and loving woman, E_7. She has become a strong support in my walk into learning more about God, and our catholic faith. I have received many blessings through this relationship thanks to God working through E_7, and I just want to give her the biggest thanks that any man can give.

E_7 and I met (offline and online), and we fell in love, and decided to pursue a relationship. After several months together, I felt moved to take the next step, and I know she felt this way too, and we got engaged. Now we are in the process to prepare for marriage sometime within a year or so. I want to ask everyone that is willing to pray for sanctification of our union, for God’s will on our union, and to keep us focused in following Him.

God bless you all!

Congratulations!

How nice that you ask for prayers for such a joyous occasion.

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be
done, on earth as it is in heaven Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our
trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil. Amen

Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with thee
blessed art thou among women and
blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus
Holy Mary mother of God pray for us
sinners now and at the hour of our death
Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning is now ever shall be world without end Amen

May they never forget the vows they will make on their wedding day to each other, to their families, to their community, and to You. Grant them the graces they need in ethir lives. And provide for their needs-- temporal and spiritual All these I ask in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. AMEN.

St. Joseph, pray for them

Baby, I want to be there for you always ( in the ups and downs) and love you, give you my all and take care of you. You are my biggest treasure after God and I told you I found you and now I plan to keep you forever. Thank you, baby, for being open to God’s will since the very beginning. I thank God for you in my life, my strength, my blessing, my beloved saint ❤️ . I feel like I’ve known you all my life, and I truly see the future father of my kids in you. Patavium, I love you! Through you God comes to my assistance, like last night, He spoke to me through you. God bless you always, baby. And so I pray…

Dear God, thank you very much for putting me in Patavium’s way. He is my most precious blessing, very special, very dear to me; take care of Patavium when I’m not around, God. Thank You for letting us be together as we continue to grow stronger in faith, hope, will, and patience. We want to grow together in holiness, we want You, God, to be the center of our relationship, and we are doing our very best on that. May our relationship be pure and holy, God-centered and selfless, that we may continue to follow Your Will, God. Mary, most pure and spouse of the Holy Spirit, Queen of Angels, protect us from evil, guard us and lead us to Him, help us to continue to be chaste, to be strong in God, to put Him above each other. St. Michael, protect us from the devil, help us not fall into mortal sin. St. Raphael, grab our hands and guide us, lead the way. That Patavium and I may marry according to God’s Will. St. Gabriel, intercede for us and keep bringing us good news. We want to spend the rest of our lives together forever, we want to Worship You, God of the universe, together, we want to please You together, we want to make You proud, God. Please continue to bless us, to bless our relationship, that we may bring each other closer to You through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Abba,

Thank You!. You really turned my life around!, and You are still changing it for the better, so I can live a life that glorifies You, my Abba, my Father.

Thank You!!! there are not enough words I can say or tears that I can cry that will be enough to Thank You!.

Please continue to bless E_7, and continue to sanctify our love.

Bless You, Lord.
You are blessed, O God of our fathers; blessed too is your name for ever and ever. Let the heavens bless you and all things you have made for evermore.
You it was who created Adam, you who created Eve his wife to be his help and support; and from these two the human race was born. You it was who said, ‘It is not right that the man should be alone; let us make him a helper like him.’
And so I take my sister E_7 not for any lustful motive, but I do it in singleness of heart. Be kind enough to have pity on her and on me and bring us to old age together.
Amen Amen

Oh my…someone should put a kleenex alert for this thread. I don’t know about anyone else but I’m all teary eyed! How sweet and precious! Congratulations to you both! You are in my prayers!

Lord God of our father, may the heavens and the earth, and the sea, and the fountains, and the rivers, and all thy creatures that are in them, bless thee.

Thou madest Adam of the slime of the earth, and gavest him Eve for a helper.

And now, Lord, thou knowest, that not for fleshly lust do I take my brother Patavium to husband, but only for the love of posterity, in which thy name may be blessed for ever and ever.

Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us, and let us grow old both together in health.

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Marriage is an act of will that signifies and involves a mutual gift, which unites the spouses and binds them to their eventual souls, with whom they make up a sole family – a domestic church.
  • Pope John Paul II ❤️
Marriage is good for those who are afraid to sleep alone at night.
  • St. Jerome :harp:
O Lord, we thank you for this wonderful gift of our love
which You have generously granted us and which allows us to build a true communion of persons between us —provided we remain ever open to You,
the Source of all love.
Help us to continue to love each other and accept each other unconditionally, as we get to know each other better.
Make us generous in giving and humble in receiving.
Enable us to communicate to one another all our joys, sufferings, and desires and all our hopes, sorrows, and difficulties.
Give us the power of Your Love that we may forget self and live for each other so that we may have truly one spirit, in preparation for the time when You will send us children to add to our union and love. Amen.

:gopray2: Grant that I may never desire to do what is foolish, and that I may never be discouraged by what is distasteful; that I may never begin my works before the proper time, nor abandon them before they are completed. Amen.
Young people are threatened… by the evil use of advertising techniques that stimulate the natural inclination to avoid hard work by promising the immediate satisfaction of every desire.
  • Pope John Paul II 🙂
Grant me grace, O merciful God, to desire ardently all that is pleasing to Thee, to examine it prudently, to acknowledge it truthfully, and to accomplish it perfectly for the praise and glory of Thy name. Amen.

May we be patient in finding out God’s Holy Will and courageous in carrying it out.
