Hello
I like this video of our then Holy Father singing the Pater Noster. Right in front of him is a group of Japanese (presumably non-Catholic) schoolkids on a trip to Europe. They look pretty bored in the video.
If my botched translation is right, then at the end His Holiness says in Italian something along the lines of ‘It looks like the little Japanese people do not want to sing for us!’, in reference to the fact that they looked confused and didn’t sing at all!
