Hi, everyone, to make a long story short, I’ve been interviewing with a company since early April. Effectively, I’ve gone through the entire interview process twice. The first time I was rejected due to under performing in their on-site interview, but I was instantly given an opportunity for a different role, but that required redoing much of the process. Yesterday, I got the call that they’re no longer hiring people for the team that I was interviewing for. However, I was told another team wanted me for the same role, but it appears that since they require a specialization, I still have at least one phone interview left before a final decision is made. (The specialization has already been decided.)
Obviously, things could be a lot worse. I could have gotten rejected or been in a position where I couldn’t afford the delays, and having multiple teams throughout the company interested is a good sign. Admittedly, though, the constant delays and interviews are wearing me down a little. (And before anyone asks, I do want this job. Outside of the delays, everything has been really good, and the company has a fantastic reputation in how it treats its workers.)
I’m just asking for prayers for patience, trust in God, and to not despair. Prayers for the final interview would also be nice.
