Patriarch Pavle of Serbian Orthodox church has requested from Holy Synod to be retired because of poor health. Pavle is 94 years old and has been Patriarch for 18 years. He is well known for his very holy, quiet life in Serbia where is much respected. Official date for retirement November 11. council bisohps to choose new Patriarch.
