Is there a paticular (or, even better, a list of) Saint(s) that is recommended in prayers for the conversion of non-Catholics? I’ve got a family chock full of Protestants.

I’ve heard of St Cecilia, I believe, who prayed for the conversion of her family. They all came into the Church, and ultimately became martyrs for the faith. Sounded like a good one. 🙂

Thanks and God bless.

Saint Monica - she prayed and had masses for the conversion of her son for over 30 years. He finally converted and came into the church as she was dying. He later became Saint Augustine, so I guess that all her 30 years’ worth of prayers took hold at the same time! 🙂

You may also want to communicate with the Virgin Mary, who will act as a nest for the Holy Spirit, and guard your newfound Catholic treasures.

St Elizabeth Ann Seton was a convert from Episcopal Church, founded a religious order after she was widowed, and was instrumental in starting parochial schools in US.
