Hey, I was just wondering if there’s a patron Saint of shyness? Sometimes I can be very shy, and in many situations, it inhibits me from doing the tasks which I should be doing. There must be a patron Saint for shyness…does anyone know who it is? Recently, I’ve been praying to St. Therese because I know that she used to be very timid and shy but then on one Christmas night she had an experience at Mass where she came back no longer a child but an adult. I’ve been praying that this same thing would happen to me:o

She was an adult with a child-like heart. 🙂
It looks to me she’s the one you are looking for…

if not, you have to look for a Saint who was talkative 😃

PS: how about searching for “Patron Saint of confidence”?

Talking is often overrated, big time. Listening is underrated.

I look around and ask myself, what do the people who aren’t talking know? I ask because they are often listeners and don’t say a lot about what they don’t know. Talkers will answer either way.

Once I worked on a project with another expert. We worked for about 6 hours and said about 5 or 10 words. It was one of the greatest days of my life.

Hm… what does “adult” mean to you? Someone talkative, brave, confident… I bet Christ likes you the way you are 😃 but if you feel you are simply too withdrawn and you are uncomfortable in society, why not pray for the help of the Holy Spirit?

St Thomas is the patron saint of doubt. Maybe he can help you believe in yourself more.
Mary 🙂
