Quick question: who is the patron saint of the Friendless?

Seriously, I believe it is St. John the Apostle & Evangelist (Friendship)

It was he who stood witness to the Crucifixion, never leaving the side of Christ
 
Indeed, John the Apostle. A modern era patroness might be Blessed Mary of the Cross, who cared for anybody in need, orphans, old people, girls in danger, the friendless of all ages. She lived and worked in Australia. I’m not sure if she has officially been declared a saint yet.

Yes, St. Mary of the Cross was cannonized in October 2010. Her feast day was actually yesterday, August 8…
