Patron Saints- How many?

Are catechumens allowed more than one patron saint at baptism?

certainly that is why many people have a first and a middle name. You need only one, and you do not have to change your given name (if you are an unbaptized adult) unless it is overtly anti-Christian (such as Lucifer or something similar).

No person knows how many Saints there are. Only God knows the answer to that.

You may choose any, or all, Saints as your “Patron Saint”. There is no limitation. Myself, I chose St. John Eudes as my Confirmation Patron Saint, and St. Joseph, Step-Father of the Lord as my general patron Saint.

My wife chose St. Thomas Aquinas as her Confirmation Patron Saint (and BOY did she get a lot of flack about a GIRL choosing a male Saint’s name) and St. Mary Magdelene as her general Patron Saint.
