One thing that really drives me crazy about this issue is that one side gives substantive arguments while the other just describes people’s problems. As a result, I was against illegal immigration and not swayed by people talking about familoes split apart, etc, because, after all, these difficulties were the result of those people’s own decisions.

It wasn’t until someone on this board actually addressed the arguments against illegal immigration that I changed my mind.
