Hmmm… what have I done that would be contradictory to what the premise of this thread stated?

By the way, Paul agrees with you.

Titus 1:10-16
For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision(Jews):
Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake.
One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, the Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.
This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;
Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Know why that is a dangerous message? Because to stop a mouth you must either:
  1. Be educated enough in the Scriptures to prove otherwise, and this will not happen with what I presented because it is clear, to the point, and supported with God’s Word.
so
  1. Rebuke or silence by playing the bully card, which is cowardly (in this case, I can almost hear the scramblings to have the thread shut down).
and eventually, if this blind faith keeps escalating as more and more Truth is revealed to show the blind faith false, as it will continue to happen,
  1. Physical force will be used to shut the mouths of those who declare the things that have been hidden by the deceivers, as has been the case throughout the history of the world. 🙂
Tell me something. Please explain to me what is blind faith to you? What does that mean?

I love how this is the best you can come up with. Tell me, what is wrong that I would agree to read something that was suggested to me? I stated clearly that unless I am shown otherwise, this is where I will stand. I know you can not show me otherwise and this is why you make biting remarks.

It’s okay. I am not offended as I know that it is hard to face the Truth when you have been taught something else. 🙂

Prove me wrong instead of trying to discredit me. You will not be able to do so unless by the Word of God.

I gave you a website to read. Read it.

Simplynoone,

With your interpretation does Isaiah 9 (For a child is born to us, a son is given us; upon his should er dominion rests. They name him Wonder-Counselor, God-Hero, Father-Forever, Prince of Peace) and Hosea 11:1 *(When Israel was a child I loved him, out of Egypt I called my son.) *compliment one another or are at odds with one another? Does Wonder-Conselor, God-Hero, Father-Forever, Prince of Peace name the Almighty or the nation?

I’m hardly worried about offending you - you’ve consistently shown that that is impossible 😃

But do stop claiming you’re here to be converted when you are clearly not. I am absolutely justified in thinking you are a fickle person or an argumentative one. Personally, I lean towards the latter.

Tell me something. Please explain to me what is blind faith to you? What does that mean?
A faith is what keeps you all from honestly looking at what I have presented that you asked for.

Faith is what makes you afraid to look at the Truth because you have been taught fear of punishment for questioning a man.

I have not spoken against God. I have spoken against a man (and it was not even Jesus). Look at who you are defending. Not God and not even Jesus. There is a reason why and it is seen clearly in his writings. It has seeped into your brain and it makes you mean to anyone who promotes God’s Truth over man’s truth. Let’s have a look, shall we?

God’s chosen are armed with knowledge and so the only way to discredit ones who have been given understanding and knowledge that is not given to those not chosen is by smear campaigns.

The Jewish never used crucifixtion as a form of punishment and yet:

1 Thess 2:14-15
For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:
Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:

I worry not at all about such threats because I know there is no power in the following. It is nothing but the sounds of a bitter cry on a dying wind in my opinion. 🙂 Knowledge always overcomes ignorance and God will uphold his despite the empty threats.

Gal 1:9
As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

God says in Psalm 149: 5-7:

Psa 149:5-9
Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;
To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;
To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD. 🙂

Faith is all that is required for you to be saved by Jesus. Think about it.

And I leave you all with this last post to be astounded by.

You say you believe in Jesus, correct? Need I remind you that Jesus said:

“Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.”(Luke 21: 14 & 15)

“If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.” (john 15: 7 & 8)

“And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.” (Matthew 10: 18-20)

“Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.” (Matthew 10: 26 & 27)

" But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost." (Mark 13:11)

🙂 🙂 🙂

No worries. Discuss amongst yourself as you look back through this thread about why it seems the “troll”… the “speaker against God” is better equipped with the knowledge of God?

I wonder, when will Christ finally keep his promise to you by giving you the words to prove that you do in fact have the Truth?

I’ll check back later. Hopefully he will have not let you down and in the time I am gone, you will be given what you need to prove me wrong. 👍 I’m open to seeing it! 🙂

Believe me, you have enlightened no one, and you refuse to read the fulfillment prophesies. So I will be leaving this post too, because it has been a total waste of time.

How can you judge me or my faith. When you do not even know what faith is. Who gives you the authority to teach others about faith when you have none. Let me explain to your what faith is. Faith is trust complete trust in God. How could anyone anywhere have complete trust and follow someone that they have no faith in. Could you explain that to me.

Genesis 15:6 Abraham put his FAITH in the LORD.

Hebrews 10:39 those who have FAITH possess life

Romans l:17 It is revealed the righteous of God from Faith.

What do you have to say about Abraham and his faith, I am sure he was blind also. Just like Me. Blind faith, I can see how you do not have it, you cannot possess something you cannot comprehend.

Ok, here is the deal. Some posters have begun throwing this claim around.
In order for an upstart to modify established beliefs, he must try to discredit those who established what he wishes to take control of.

And it doesn’t hurt his cause to allow his followers some fringe benefits such as multiple wives and temporary marriages.

You disobeyed Christ: you said in another post you checked 20 versions. Why didn’t he just miraculously tell you what was in those 20 versions instead of you having to check??? Hmmm???
I’ll check back later. Hopefully he will have not let you down and in the time I am gone, you will be given what you need to prove me wrong. 👍 I’m open to seeing it! 🙂

So… show me in the Word of God, where Jesus said his teachings would be supported, do you see the name Jesus mentioned? God said He declared these things from the beginning and has not kep them hid from our eyes. So, where is it?
There is only one prophecy in the whole Bible that calls someone by name prior to his birth, I believe it was regarding Xerxes. Your demands that Jesus’ common name be mentioned are ridiculous and lack any Biblical merit.
God names His son. You can find it in Hosea 11: 1. Why don’t you post up the name that you see for me. Maybe your version says something different?
It says Israel as far as I remember. God also talks about his servant David in the present tensel long after David is dead. I think you understand very little of the Bible.
If not, God said these things were not hid from our eyes and my KJV it is Israel written there as the Son and not Jesus. So, what does your say? Perhaps we do have a misunderstanding in my version.
What was not hidden from our eyes? You remind me of others who throw around out-of-context passages to try and support their pet doctrines.
I am after Truth and in the name of that quest, I looked it up in 20 different English versions all of which name the Son of God as Israel. shrugs
Jesus didn’t give you what you would need to say?
👍 Proverbs 2: 1-7
Isaiah 43:
7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
8 Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.
9 Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.
10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
12 I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.
13 Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?
And to those only quoting a verse out of Job… read the whole book and not just one verse. When Job was able to see that man’s knowledge could not save him, God fed him knowledge from His own mouth.
I am giving you knowledge that comes from God and so no one is declaring me wrong, but rather God wrong.
Jesus said “I AM.” Not sure how what you write above is supposed to prove anything. You think because of your “many words” you can convince someone of something, but your proof texts don’t support your beliefs. Instead of alluding to something in Job, why don’t you supply the exact passage that contradicts what I said: God has knowledge that we do not, no matter how much he imparts to us, he will always be higher than us.
Oh, and for the schpill about not including the rest of the passage, the end of Psalm 147 declares exactly who it is you can go to to gain the knowledge of God.
Strangely enough, Paul says the same thing, but I’m sure you would conveniently dismiss that passage.
19 He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.
20 He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.
He declares it… the nations have not been dealt with by God as has Jacob, Israel and thus, they cannot know the judgments of God save by the Son of God, which is declared as Israel. 🙂
Nice talking to you. You’re obviously here to troll and post canned responses with lists of scriptures that you clearly do not understand.

Also I do defend God, and yes I do defend Paul. Paul loved Jesus.

Jesus came to Paul and Paul accepted Jesus. Paul gave up his life for Jesus. Paul had the authority and the Gift of the Holy Spirit to teach us the word of God. You do not have the gift of the Holy SPirit or the authority to teach scripture, so please do not try. We have the Church for that, and I am sorry that the Church some how is a threat to you. It is a shame. You should learn from the teachings of the Church. It would make you a different person. When you persecute the Church you persecute Jesus Christ. Paul learned that, and it made he a changed person. It is a shame you cannot learn from Paul.

Show me one prophecy that show that Jesus Christ was the fulfillment of prophecies.

Show me one time where God said in the prophecies that He was making a New Covenant with mankind (or even with Gentiles).

I have given you much and am receiving little of prophecies fulfilled in the way you claim. I am disappointed.

By the way, if you do not believe that the Tanakh is fully God’s Word, then why are you basing your belief systems on the prophecies within?
This thread is not about Jesus and who he was. It was about if Paul taught anything in opposition to Jesus.

But, as you so well put, you are just a click or two away from your own answer. Here is one link that you can use.
cynet.com/jesus/PROPHECY/ntquoted.htm

And you still have not told me what Jesus meant by fulfilled. I am still waiting on that one.

You tell me? What do you see there?
I read English only. You are the Jewish person. What is the word used in the Hebrew texts?
1My breath is corrupt, my days are extinct, the graves are ready for me.
2Are there not mockers with me? and doth not mine eye continue in their provocation?
3Lay down now, put me in a surety with thee; who is he that will strike hands with me?
4For thou hast hid their heart from understanding: therefore shalt thou not exalt them.
5He that speaketh flattery to his friends, even the eyes of his children shall fail.
6He hath made me also a byword of the people; and aforetime I was as a tabret.
7Mine eye also is dim by reason of sorrow, and all my members are as a shadow.
8Upright men shall be astonied at this, and the innocent shall stir up himself against the hypocrite.
9The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.
10But as for you all, do ye return, and come now: for I cannot find one wise man among you. 🙂
None of that says that a man can fully comprehend God, which is your claim

There is a third option, you know…

No one lied.

God’s law may not have been a final state, but one of transition. Think about this, did God command animal offerings? The OT is full of them, but you never see GOd ORDERING them until after Isreal is taken from Egypt. Is it possible that this state was meant to transition Isreal from the pagan-infested faith they developed in Egypt into one of true spiritualism?
So you will know, this concept that I have presented is similar to one that Valke (Jewish poster) and I discussed a while back about why the Temple was allowed to be destroyed by God. You never see any mention of Jesus in it, do you?

Paul, the idoloter… if you are sure you KNOW he is not, then you will have no problem reading this. Warning!! Only those strong of faith should read… and if you are, then you will surely prove me wrong to shut my mouth as Paul commands of you!!

The following has allows been the strangest situation… gives me the creeps to read it. I asked and I received tonight. Take it for what you will. Paul is a deceiver and I have tapped the nail in the coffin thus far… hammering it now for your own sakes. 🙂

Acts 19:
24 For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, which made silver shrines for Diana, brought no small gain unto the craftsmen;
25 Whom he called together with the workmen of like occupation, and said, Sirs, ye know that by this craft we have our wealth.
26 Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands:
27 So that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised, and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worshippeth.
28 And when they heard these sayings, they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, Great is Diana of the Ephesians.
29 And the whole city was filled with confusion: and having caught Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul’s companions in travel, they rushed with one accord into the theatre.
30 And when Paul would have entered in unto the people, the disciples suffered him not.
31 And certain of the chief of Asia, which were his friends, sent unto him, desiring him that he would not adventure himself into the theatre.
32 Some therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was confused: and the more part knew not wherefore they were come together.
33 And they drew Alexander out of the multitude, the Jews putting him forward. And Alexander beckoned with the hand, and would have made his defence unto the people.
34 But when they knew that he was a Jew, all with one voice about the space of two hours cried out, Great is Diana of the Ephesians.
35 And when the townclerk had appeased the people, he said, Ye men of Ephesus, what man is there that knoweth not how that the city of the Ephesians is a worshipper of the great goddess Diana, and of the image which fell down from Jupiter?
36 Seeing then that these things cannot be spoken against, ye ought to be quiet, and to do nothing rashly.
37 For ye have brought hither these men, which are neither robbers of churches, nor yet blasphemers of your goddess.
38 Wherefore if Demetrius, and the craftsmen which are with him, have a matter against any man, the law is open, and there are deputies: let them implead one another.
39 But if ye enquire any thing concerning other matters, it shall be determined in a lawful assembly.
40 For we are in danger to be called in question for this day’s uproar, there being no cause whereby we may give an account of this concourse.
41 And when he had thus spoken, he dismissed the assembly.

First Demetrius, the idol maker claims that Paul is against them, the idol makers and they are angry with him… this taking place with the Ephesians mind you.

Demetrius:As we see is “a silversmith, which made silver shrines for Diana, brought no small gain unto the craftsmen”

In the following passage, which is Paul’s writing and I can prove as well… there is much in the writings attributed to him that leave one with a thinking mind with no doubt.

3 John 1:
12 Demetrius hath good report of all men, and of the truth itself: yea, and we also bear record; and ye know that our record is true.
It looks to people as though John, the Apostle, is endorsing a maker of idols who is apparently against Paul for speaking against them. rolls eyes

(cont’d. on next page… thrilling 🤷 )
