I am new to this and inquiring into faith, looking for answers.

Did Paul think that Jesus was divine? I see he referred to Jesus as “Lord” in his epistles, but as I understand it, that title was also used to refer to political leaders.

You might also want to look at Galatians 1:15-16.

NRSV
“But when God, who had set me apart before I was born and called me through his grace, was pleased to reveal his Son to me, so that I might proclaim him among the Gentiles.”

A reference to Jesus as the Son of God seems to be a pretty good indication of a belief in Jesus’ divinity to me! 🙂
