In the Bible, “Paul to the Corinthians” talks of staying away from the sexually immoral who: “are called brothers”…
My concern is:
I recently saw my dad for the first time. He is someone who seems kind to others, and he seems like a good person…But, there is a problem…He’s said that he believes in God, and he believes that Jesus forgives, and that’s why He died for us…
But the problem is that:he may be into much of what this world is into - Lust -. Sexual immorality…
Now, I would still like to visit him and get to know him, but if this is an offense against God, or if this is something that is not in God’s Will, then I do not want to offend Him at all.

*Can you tell me; Who is a brother?
And, do you think it would be accepted by God, if I talked to him or visited him?

Thank You & may God bless!

Dear Nick:

By all means spend time with him. He is your dad, and God has blessed you that having not known him, you get to know him while there is time. And, you may be his closest contact to a Godly life.

Christians are called to be salt for the earth. Salt is a preservative; and it does not do its job by sitting in the saltsahker while the side of beef spoils. We are supposed to interact with the sinners in our life!
