I think I remember a passage where Paul says he boasts, but not of himself. Rather he boasts of … maybe the Holy Spirit? Or of the gospel? Does this ring a bell? Anyone provide direction?
The passage I believe is in romans where he does state that he boasts but not of himself but in the lord. For if one boats in himself it is out of pride and worldly rewards. But if we boast in the lord it is a heavenly one. Paul is stating that for example: Somebody asked you how is your day going, or why are you such in a good mood? You say I am in a such a good mood because of the lord. You are giving that mood/attitude and applying to God not of yourself. The reason why you are in a good mood is because of God!I think I remember a passage where Paul says he boasts, but not of himself. Rather he boasts of … maybe the Holy Spirit? Or of the gospel?
