I just attended a meeting called by our local water company and I am absolutely devastated.

I had volunteered to be part of a neighborhood association board and because of some medical problems I couldn’t fulfill my obligations, then life interfered. I tried to talk to the lady who had headed the association and I was supposed to take her place. She yelled at me in front of a lot of people that she was too busy to talk to me and walked away from me, but stopped to talk to someone else and made some snide remarks as I walked past her. I wanted to apologize for my failure to complete my obligation.

I was warned that she held grudges and she would make snide remarks and slander people, but I didn’t believe them because I had never dealt with this person. I have learned to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I don’t know what to do.

Please pray that the Holy Spirit may give me a sign as to how to make this right. I can’t pray that she change because it has to come from her. I can only ask Jesus to make the way where there is no way. Jesus in your name I pray. Amen and thank you. :gopray2::signofcross:

Hail Mary, full of grace the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women and
blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Loving God please help imi uru to find peace. Perhaps this person could have sent an apology earlier which might have been helpful, Lord, but hopefully the poor good-hearted soul will now feel able to quietly write an apology and brief explanation of the difficulties that prevented undertaking the position and responsibilities.
I was once advised to only ‘serve at the tables the Lord intends’ rather that also at those that others may pressure us to serve at, or some misguided impulse might indicate. Perhaps, Lord, in letting ill-health and life get in the way You are allowing a point to be made that imi uru may not be able to take on too many or extra tasks. If it is so please give imi uru that realization.

Loving God, when people are nasty is is basically their problem, and often is an indication that the person carries some deep harm or hurt; but it certainly indicates that the person needs prayer. We ask You to help her seek and find forgiveness for her lack of Christian love.Perhaps we are the only ones who ever prayed specifically for this woman, so please grant our prayers for her
And I ask You to give peace to imi uru, and to prevent the nastiness from seeping into imi uru’s heart and mind to so that there is no further harm to imi uru’s health and peace.
God bless you, God bless you, God bless you dear friend
