PBS Series: A Brief History of Disbelief

This show aired last night on a local PBS station in my area. I understand it’s playing on a few select stations, not all PBS channels. It’s hosted by Sir Jonathan Miller, a British atheist, who attempts to trace atheism and agnosticism through history, as the title suggests.

It was fairly interesting in that shows the reasoning behind those who disbelieve without neccesarily trying to persuade the audience to one belief or another. Although it does portray the non-believer in a favorable light, as reasonable people who, especially in the past, were courageous to express their views.
