I have contacted the backroom staff but nothing has been done yet. Ham does not come here in good faith, so I don’t feel obliged to treat him in good faith. That is not lacking charity, merely taking a stand for my Lord. Something Mohammedans should be able to relate to, anyway.
:nope:

"My command to you is: love your enemies, pray for your persecutors. This will prove that you are sons of your heavenly Father, for his sun rises on the bad and the good, he rains on the just and the unjust.

If you love those who love you, what merit is there in that? Do not tax collectors do as much? And if you greet your brothers only, what is so praisworthy about that? Do not pagans do as much? In a word, you must be made perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect." – Luke 5:38-48.

Lily, I do pray for Ham, caught in the snares of this evil cult. Yes, I should love him, even though he disrespects all that is holy.

The thing about love is you tell the truth. When you love someone sinning you don’t clean up after them and pretend they’ve not done anything wrong.

No, but neither do you berate and belittle and deliberately offend them at every opportunity when you know full well that such won’t help turn them from their sin and will just drive them further into it.

if we can expose some of ham’s illogical thinking he may realise that his arguments aren’t as watertight as he believes
leaving him to wallow in ignorance will achieve nothing

Again, you can discuss logical consistencies or inconsistencies in a much more tactful and persuasive way than you have been doing, instead of going so completely on the offensive.

look at the way ham posts tho LilyM
instead of responding to any points made to him, he just keeps on posting the same thing even when it has been refuted
he posts in a provocative way, for example equating Christians inc the Holy Father to Satan
I am quite sure that ham has a thick skin
when you look at ham’s posts it is quite clear what his mission is

And that gives you the right to dive right down to his level because … :ehh:

Rebuking means telling a person they’re wrong - not calling them names or spewing personal insults.
?
Biblical examples of rebuking:
“you stiff-necked heathen” (St Stephen)
“your money perish with you for thinking that God’s gift can be brought” (St Peter to Simon the sorcerer)
“you son of the devil, full of every sort of trickery and villainy, enemy of all that is good, will you never end your opposition to the Lord?”
looks like pretty strong stuff to me:)

Jack and Lily,
Come on guys, we are all on the same side here.
Please find peace in your conversation.
Agree do disagree, or something…
Peace guys
Dolphy

Hi Dolphinlove
I respect Lily’s point of view:)
I see exactly where she’s coming from, and I do appreciate where she’s saying - she may well be more right than I am
I just think that some people like Ham are trying to mock God
but yes, we can agree to disagree in Christian love

Yes i know what you mean about Lily.
As for Ham… well…
He has his own set of rules and will continue to have these arguments. Nothing we say or do will make him change his view of Christianity.
