For any shared community need, such as peace, relief for the local poor, greater understanding between people, etc.
This is what we have been doing for a number of years in our town. There are many projects that are just too big for any one church or faith group to accomplish on their own. We have witnessed a real blessing in our community by meeting together and praying together, amazing things happen.
But not in such a way that Catholics are suggesting all religions are the same or that it doesn’t matter if you are part of the Catholic Parish or the Protestant church, Orthodox church, Jewish synagogue, Islamic mosque etc. Usually the cleric for the other faith will also be sensitive to this.
We each strive to be the best person we can be, through the faith that we have been called to.

And this is fine. Any sort of “shared action” like you all go on a rally together or you go help the poor together, usually works well.

The problems start to arise when they want people to come together for praise and worship activities outside of a non-denominational rally or event. Or when the activities somehow get coupled with the idea of “hey come over and visit our church.” But like I said, most clerics including Catholic clergy are sensitive to this and do not use the shared action as a platform for “poaching” the other church’s members or otherwise evangelizing their particular faith.
