From a Catholic perspective how does one find peace with God?

I’m not sure about the catholic perspective but,
*“We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” —Romans 5:1 (NIV)
**“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” —John 3:16 (NIV)

I think you just got to have faith and believe in Jesus and his sacrifice for us.
You cannot brisge the gap to god by yourself, its impossible, Jesus is the only way to god.
Also confessing your sins help

First know that no matter what you don’t deserve His love,but He loves you no matter what.In response to that do thebest you can with the grace He gave you to know Him,Love Him and Serve Him.Realise that He knows you better than you know yourself
