My dear prayer warriors, as I read through your intentions and keep them in my prayers, I beg you also to remember the people of South Sudan, some of whom are suffering in indescribable ways. I have recently returned from two of the war zones. I have seen and listened to hundreds of people begging for prayers for peace so they can leave the inhuman displaced peoples’ camps. In Upper Nile, I experienced shelling one night while we were in Adoration… In Unity State, I entered into the rebels area and there the women were pleading for others to recognize that they also want peace. In the hospital I saw young teen-age boys 15-16 years of age, maimed, with only one leg or one hand or other horrible wounds. I left one missionary Sister there among them, the elderly women promising to take care of her. The Commanders in that area have taken children as young as 11 to use as human shields. Yesterday, they began rounding up all the young girls and women to go to fight on the front line. Only prayer can stop this war. Please join me and these people in the Rosary, may Our Mother Mary hear the cries and ask God for help for them.
