Washington, DC – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called on a Catholic saint today to help her and her pro-abortion colleague pass a Senate health care bill that contains massive abortion funding. Not only did Pelosi upset pro-life Catholics in so doing, but she got the date wrong concerning the saint she mentioned.

I wonder if Pelosi isn’t being hypocitical? It shudders me…as Father Corapi said in his last tv show, we are engaged in a spiritual warfare right here, right now…evil is running rampant and we shouldn’t let the forces of Darkness win!!!

Now it’s getting really personal. I’m beyond offended. It’s been a monkey show since Thanksgiving. I pray as I have that the United States government is completely stripped naked so that the American people will see what’s really going on.

Holy Mother Mary, Our Lady of Guadelupe please intercede for us,
please reveal your Holy Son Jesus Christ to the Obama administration, House Representatives, and Senators.
Let your mantle rest upon the innocent,
Please ask your Son to put His hand up against the evil forces of death,
and not let this bill pass in any way, shape or form.
I pray and ask this of your Son in His Holy name, Jesus Christ.

It’s sad that we have americans vs americans and family members vs family members, but it brings me to tears to see catholics vs catholics.
 
Pray for these sadly misguided, power drunken fools like Ms. Pelosi who have no shame & are completely blinded by the glare from their own selfish ambitions!

**They try to hide behind their “catholic” heritage, but have divorced Jesus & only pick & choose the teachings that fit their lust for power. **

Using St. Joseph’s name to promote the expansion of government sponsored, legalized murder of innocent babies is just another blasphemy & she must be publicly chastised by the Bishops as she is intentionally causing scandal!

At least Mr. Obama is not Catholic! When he skillfully uses the gullible fools like Fr. Jenkins, President of Notre Dame University & when he goes to Georgetown & covers up the IHS logo, to dupe ignorant Catholics into promoting his pro death agenda, we can understand his plan. How can someone like Ms. Pelosi who professes to be Catholic support the murder of innocent babies???

When Pilate asked Jesus Christ to His face “What is truth?” (Jn 18:38), Pilate did not profess to be a follower of Jesus, he did not pretend to be a Catholic with 2000 years of teaching confirming the “GRAVE EVIL OF EVERY ABORTION!” At least Pilate had an excuse!

When those like Ms. Pelosi, who promote murdering innocent babies by abortion, stand before Jesus, alone & naked for their judgment, their lies & rhetoric will be like dust in the wind. Hopefully they can push aside their arrogance & whisper “MERCY”, although they may be drowned out by the 50+ MILLION babies who have been murder by abortion!!!

Why hasn’t somebody informed her that any serious Catholic should be Pro-life?
 
As the Holy Father said some years ago " these things fall within the designs of providence " , God is not mocked - He will always triumph , when todays evils have run their course Our Ladys Immaculate Heart will triumph . We must pray the Rosary & do whatever lies within our power - including praying for these public sinners .

Nancy Pelosi is not a Catholic. She is a secularist.
 
My sister in law looked up whose feast day is tomorrow. (the day of the vote) Get this - It’s St. Nicolas of Flue. He was a hermit and stopped a civil war in Switzerland by getting the delegates to work together. He worked through the night and came up with a set of proposals that everyone could agree on.

Here is his prayer: Lord God, You alone are holy and no one is good without You. Through the intercession of St. Nicholas help us to live in such a way that we may not be deprived of a share in Your glory. Amen.

I don’t think anything could more completely expose the utter failure of the bishops to fulfill their roles as teachers and leaders than to see such a high profile Catholic politician as Nancy Pelosi make a public appeal to Catholics to use their faith in the service of a political agenda. It is not so much Pelosi who should be the object of our anger but rather the bishops who have been conspicuous in not confronting the brand of Catholicism she’s been selling.

I have little doubt but that many Catholics are quite comfortable with her form of Catholicism and that of organizations like “Catholics” for Choice, “Catholics” United, and “Catholics” for the Common Good and why wouldn’t they? The bishops have abandoned Catholic teaching to those organizations, pretending that quiet dialog and dignified statements of concern will suffice. It’s more like the shepherds are afraid of the wolves and have simply abandoned their flocks. Apparently they didn’t learn from the sex abuse scandals that accommodation isn’t an effective way of resolving problems.

The selective tolerance of the U.S. Bishops is puzzling:confused:

If anything at all, Speaker Pelosi, and for that matter any Catholic in such positions of power, and prominence should be exemplary examples to Catholics and those of the entire nation.
What a fine witness it would be to the world if all Catholic politicians were speaking and acting in unity in defense of the unborn child!

Sadly, many are so blinded by partisan politics that they will not see. It has been obvious to many of us what this administration is all about, and those who choose to support their efforts dispite what the bishops have said will have to answer to the same final judge as do we all. I will pray for them.
 
I think we need to pray for Speaker Pelosi, she clearly needs much help.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinner now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Don’t the creators of such organizations have to seek approval from the Church before using the title “Catholic” in there names?

Regardless it is really foolish for someone to use a religion to further there political plans, especially if they use one that’s against there goals!
