So i read this article and it seems to say that penal substitution isn’t like the charicature of a father venting his wrath on his son, but that still seems like an accurate representation of it. I would highly appreciate a protestant’s explanation of this or a refutation of what this article implies (explicitly as he includes many ‘implications’ of denying penal substitution that are quite fierce) thanks, and GOD bless!
