What does the Catholic church say about the afterlife of a person of another religion, even one contradictory with the church.
People who are born and raised in a particular religion (Islam, Judaism, etc) no nothing else and their perception of God and the universe is much different than ours (Christians), so why would they be punished for something they didn’t know was wrong?
Also, what about perspective and ideals? What if someone believes something is right, contrary to Catholic beliefs, because the person wants to trust God before a mortal appointed Pope. No Blasphemy intended, just trying to figure this out.
