                              PepsiCo is telling those who call to complain about PepsiCo's sponsorship of gay pride parades that it does not sponsor such parades. That simply is not true.
Here are the sponsorship pages, from the various parades, with the PepsiCo product logo showing it as an official sponsor. (The sponsor page for the New York parade has been removed from the New York gay parade site.)
Atlanta Gay Pride Parade (Sponsored by Frito Lay. See the Frito Lay ad near the bottom on the left side.)
Dallas Gay Pride Parade (Sponsored by Pepsi Max. See the Pepsi Max ad on the bottom left side.)
Phoenix Gay Pride Parade (Sponsored by Pepsi Cola. See the Pepsi ad in second row on the right hand side.)
Cleveland Gay Pride Parade (Sponsored by Frito Lay. See the Frito Lay ad in the middle of the page.)
PepsiCo also says it does not require attendance at its “diversity” training seminars. Again, PepsiCo is not being truthful about its practices. This questionnaire response by PepsiCo to the Human Rights Campaign verifies the fact that PepsiCo requires attendance at the “diversity training” seminar. Here is the proof. (See section titled “Diversity Training and Management.”)
PepsiCo refuses to give any money, or to show any compassion, to help its employees who are caught in this destructive and aberrant lifestyle. But they give massive amounts of money to help promote the lifestyle.
AFA has asked PepsiCo to be neutral in the culture war regarding the homosexual agenda and the legalization of homosexual marriage, but PepsiCo refuses to do so.
Take Action! • Sign the Boycott Pepsi Pledge. After signing the pledge, please call Pepsi (914-253-2000 or 1-800-433-2652) and tell the company you will boycott its products until it stops promoting the homosexual agenda. If you will stay on the line, a live representative will take your call.

You want people to boycott PepsiCo because they sponsored a gay pride parade?

If you think a boycott for supporting gays won’t work, ask Ford Motor Corp.

Many people are boycotting Pepsi because it openly discriminates against Catholics (and others). Pepsi has the corporate policy that if you don’t openly support homosexuality, you’re discriminating against homosexuals.

So how do they know who supports and doesn’t support homosexuality? After all, who you someone sleeps with shouldn’t be a topic of discussion at work, right? Pepsi has “diversity training” with required participation where people discuss who they sleep with, and employees in the Chicago HQ are required to display signs and wear clothing that says “Gay Friendly Work Place” and “We Support Gay Rights”.

If you object to homosexuality even passively (refuse to actively support it), you’re fired or passed over for promotions, and shunned at the company. As I said in the other thread, I’ve had many friends (professionals - accountants, engineers, managers, etc) that worked there and were either fired or quit.

Why is it sad if it works? You’re Catholic, and I assume a good one. What is there to be sad about? We here can tell you why we should participate because of Church teaching. Would you mind telling us why you disagree?
 
Boycotting, letter, campaigns, etc… are some of the ways Catholics can influence the public square.

The surest way for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing.
 
I have a question. I noticed in the “Atlanta” link… that the COCA COLA logo was there… too. Is COCA COLA also supporting gay rights? 😦

for devout Canadian Catholics here at CAF who are against gay marriages and the sort ? I would gladly sign it in support of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.

As of today, no, they are not. Their entire history has been to avoid the demography that Pepsi caters to. I don’t see them changing that anytime soon.

But again… WHY is the COCA COLA logo in the Atlanta “Gay Pride” link? If they don’t support the gay agenda… why is their logo on the advertisment?

My eyes are not very good. Hard to read, but it looks like COCA COLA is listed under something called “Rainbow Sponsor”? 🤷 Look at the link…

I did a quick search before i posted and found above post (thread). We can now call Frito Lay Frito Gay. Good grief, Charlie Brown.

Several Catholics I know work for Pepsi. They have big families. One man is the father of nine and one on the way. I have no interest in putting their jobs in jeopardy.
