Perayers again requested regarding my housing/financial situation and my career situation

Please pray, again, regarding my housing/financial situation and my career/employment situation.

(1) My residence is in need of home repairs. I may be able to borrow some or all of the money I need. However, in the worst case, the cost of repairs may be so high that I may have to walk away from the residence. I would then have to start paying rent which I am not in a good position to do at this time.

(2) I am hoping to go for another master’s degree part-time in a field in which I am interested and in which I know there are jobs available.

First of all I am hoping to be admitted to the program and to receive some kind of financial assistance. Second, I am hoping that I will be able to go through the program part-time and still maintain my present employment, and do what I feel I should do for my employer.

As I said in another thread, I am open to God’s will. Perhaps I would not be a good employee in the new field; perhaps if I had a professional job and an income I might not be as good of a Catholic as I am now. But I really think if I had this other job I would have the resources (financial resources and time resources) to be a better Catholic.

Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular signit, and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.

O Saint Joseph, we pray to you for those who are out of work, for those who want to earn their living or support their families.

You who are the patron of workers; grant that unemployment may vanish from our ranks; that all those who are ready to work may put their strength and abilities in serving their fellowmen and earn a just salary.

You are the patron of families; do not let those who have children to support and raise lack the necessary means. Have pity on our brothers and sisters held down in unemployment and poverty because of sickness or social disorders. Help our political leaders and captains of industry find new and just solutions. May each and every one have the joy of contributing, according to his abilities, to the common prosperity by an honorable livelihood. Grant that we may all share together in the abundant goods God has given us and that we may help underprivileged countries. Amen.

I attended an information session last week but I am not sure how I would pay for the program if I am even able to attend.

I am still facing financial/housing problems and if I am not able to finance my home repairs I will have to leave my residence. I am also upset because the person who has been looking after my residence while I am at work accidentally threw away a lot of my personal possessions, including things that are valuable and things that I need.
