We don’t have it in this life; we grow towards it with the help of grace, even as we may be gifted with powerful tastes of it here. The more we know God, the less we fear Him, His power, because then we come to know that He is love, that He is humble and kind and patient, that He’s trustworthy and all-good and true and forgiving-and has never had anything less than man’s best interest at heart.
