Have any of you mothers ever been pregnant and still having a period? I’ve looked up on line and many women say yes, they had periods while pregnant but on medical sites it says it’s impossible. Curious
You’ll see women saying this because they have period-like bleeding.
Some people will have implantation bleeding towards the beginning of their pregnancy. I didn’t find out I was pregnant with one of my children until I was three months along because I had bleeding that I assumed was a period, it was so similar.
Bleeding in pregnancy is a pretty good reason to call your health care provider, just in case.

Some women have regular bleeding during their pregnancy that resembles a period, but is not really. One of the Discovery channels has a program that features women who have given birth and not realized they were pregnant, and often they will say they had their “periods” the whole time.
